01 · How the model works
Four lines, your numbers.
Every figure on this page comes from these lines. Move a slider above and watch them change.
- 01
Count the first round
20 hires × 10 calls
= 200 calls a month
Screening conversations, not applications received.
- 02
Price an hour of recruiter time
$52,000 × 1.30 ÷ 2,080 h
= $32.50 an hour
Salary plus benefits and overhead, over a working year.
- 03
Swap calls for scorecards
200 × (20 + 8) min, then 200 × 4 min
= 93.3 h to 13.3 h
Recruiter hours a month on the first round, today and with ScreenWith AI.
- 04
Value the difference
80.0 h × $32.50 × 12
= $31,200 a year
Break-even is the monthly value over the calls: $2,600 ÷ 200 = $13.00 per interview.
02 · What you get back
A scorecard to read, not a call to make.
That is why the minutes that matter are the ones spent reading, not calling.

03 · Left out on purpose
What this does not measure.
The model counts recruiter minutes and nothing else. Most of what a better first round changes is not in it.
When a measured result replaces a planning assumption on this page, it will say so, with the source and the date.
- Faster fillsEvery applicant interviewed within days, not weeks, may shorten time to fill. Not counted.
- Fewer no-showsInterviews taken on the applicant’s own time tend to get finished. Not counted.
- Applicants you never reachedToday most never get a call. What it is worth to hear them is not a number here.
- Quality of hireA better first round should mean better placements. Not counted.
- Your ramp-upThe first weeks, while your team learns to read a scorecard, are not modelled.
- Our priceNothing is subtracted until you add a quote.
04 · Questions
Straight about what it means.
Want it priced for your volume?
Tell us your applicants a month and open roles. Unlimited recruiters and roles on every plan.
Or email support@screenwith.ai
Is this a promise of savings?
No. It values recruiter time at your own loaded hourly cost, so it measures capacity. The hours turn into money only when they go to placements or you need fewer of them.
Where do the starting numbers come from?
They are planning assumptions we chose to be plain and conservative, not measurements of ScreenWith AI. Two of them, scorecard review time and the share of applicants who finish, are ours and unmeasured, so they sit in their own box. Replace every number with your own.
What is the break-even price per interview?
The most you could pay for one interview before the recruiter time it frees stops covering the cost. It is the monthly value divided by your monthly screening calls, so you can hold any quote against it.
What is the downside case?
The same math with a scorecard taking twice as long to read and no scheduling time saved at all. If the number still looks worth it there, the base case is not doing the work.
Can I share or save my result?
Yes. The address bar updates as you change numbers, so Copy link shares exactly what you see. The link carries only the numbers. The CSV holds the figures and the formula.
Is anything I type sent to ScreenWith AI?
No. The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing is stored or sent unless you book a demo and give us your numbers yourself.
How do I get a real quote?
Book a demo with your applicants a month and your open roles. We quote against your volume, with unlimited recruiters and unlimited open roles on every plan.
